The Darkness released a new song entitled “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us,” which will appear on their yet-to-be-titled third album. The band are giving away the single away as a free download on their (actual) website, theactualdarkness.com. 

“Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us” is a completely animated video filled with big moustaches, cats, guitar playing on guitar-shaped brooms, and floating heads. The song itself is fun, energetic, and filled with the guitar acrobatics and harmonies you’d expect from the band. The video was created by artist Thom Lessner and director Ted Passon.

The Darkness reunited in 2011 after disbanding in 2006. Their comeback gig was a slot at last year’s Download Festival and the band are currently touring North America, hitting Toronto tonight (Feb. 1) and moving west across the U.S. throughout February. You can find tour dates here.
