After the late rapper 2pac appeared on stage with Snoop Dogg in the form of a hologram at the Coachella Music Festival, the web was abuzz with the potential for other music greats to appear in concert from beyond the grave.
Reuters asked E-Poll Market Research what other musicians fans want to see in hologram form. Ray Charles topped the list, followed by Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, John Lennon, and Frank Sinatra rounding out the top five. The results come from a weekly survey of 1,100 people ages 13 and up.
Why did Ray Charles top the list? Perhaps his iconic status and turbulent life as portrayed in the film Ray (starring Jamie Fox) kept him fresh in people’s minds, or his music stands the test of time just a couple notches higher than some other artists. Or a little of both! What do you think?
