Insane Clown Posse decided to announce the details of their forthcoming album The Mighty Death Pop with an all-out 20 minute infomercial reminiscent of a Saturday Night Live skit. Although often the butt of many jokes, I.C.P. are very self-aware, admitting to being the most hated band in America. Of course, this recognition is part of their marketing strategy, catering to their loyal fans who dub themselves “Juggalos”. 

The Mighty Death Pop hits stores in August and features special guests Hopsin and Tech N9ne as part of a 17-track disc. There will be three different versions of the album each accompanied by a separate bonus CD. The annual “Gathering of the Juggalos” will take place August 8-12 at Cave-In-Rock in Illinois and will coincide nicely with the new album release.
