As a suitable homage to 90’s grunge, Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl and Pat Smear got on stage to play with Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder during a gig in Seattle on Wednesday (April 27). The impromptu jam session was part of the encore for Mike Watt & The Missingmen’s concert at the Triple Door venue.
Pat Smear (The Germs) performed with Dave Grohl and the rest of Nirvana during some of their later touring in the early 1990s. Though Dave Grohl sings and plays guitar these days with Foo Fighters, he got behind the kit as he used to do in Nirvana. Check out the live footage below:
