Red Hot Chili Peppers are releasing an EP of six cover songs on May 1 entitled We Salute You (Warner Brothers). The album comes just after their induction in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last Saturday (Apr. 14), a well-deserved celebration of three decades of rock, pop, and funky hooks. 

The live album is comprised of half studio cuts and half live performances. The band released their 10^th studio album I’m With You in August 2011, topping the charts in 18 countries. The Chili Peppers also played their entire album in sequence live for broadcast in movie theaters around the world.
