Black Label Society frontman and Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wyle named his new baby boy after Ozzy’s band and heavy metal legends Black Sabbath. Zakk Wylde and wife Barbaranne announced the news online last Thursday:

“VALHALLA JAVA ALMIGHTY BLACK LABEL!!! SABBATH PAGE WIELANDT WYLDE Has Come to Join The Mother Chapter!!!!” 

This is not the first child Wylde named after a musical act. Wylde and his wife named one of their four children Hendrix, with the other two taking the names Hayley Rae and Jesse (names not as overtly rock n’ roll). In a recent interview with Zoinks! Online, Wylde spoke about life as a father and whether he would have more time for himself over the next few years:

"No. I gotta be honest with you, I love working. My kids, the two oldest are in college, the little guy is nine and Barbaranne is 6 1/2 months pregnant right now. My friends are like, 'You must be excited you're having another baby.' 'Yeah, we just extended the tour another twenty years.'"

Sabbath weighed in at eight pounds, 1.3 ounces, and was 21 inches long. In other Wylde news, Zakk announced that Black Label Society do not plan to release their next album until 2014 at the earliest.
